Ellen Abigail Austin, 61, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed on October 07, 2023 just shy of her 62nd birthday in Hanahan, South Carolina at her home peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Abby was born on October 09, 1962. Preceded in death by her father Ralph Alexander, her brother Clevie Alexander, her nephew Jason Daily and her children's father Timmy Austin. Abby was a very loved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and GanMa. Staying behind to continue to celebrate her life are her mother Myra Alexander of Summerville, three sisters Betsy, Margie (Wally) Kowalczyk and Beverly Stephens all of Summerville, two brothers Ralph (Annette) Alexander of Cottegville and Jimmy (Tama) Alexander of Summerville, three children Jeremiah (Tara) Alexander, Ellen Burton McGrew both of Summerville and Emily (Zach) Bennett of Goose Creek, several nieces and nephews, her grand pups Bubba, Axus, and Brandy and the two most important people who called her the Best GanMa Joseph Ross (Joe Burton) and Kye Carter (Nicholas McGrew). The family says they believe she is celebratin, dancing, probably listening to OutKast and country music. They are celebrating her fight with MS because Ms Austin was certainly a warrior. The family would like to send a special thank you to the CNAs of Viviant and Hospice for taking care of Ms Austin.
