KINSTON - Ella Jane Manning, 58, of Kinston, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Jane was born on April 16, 1955, in Kinston, N.C. She graduated from South Lenoir High School; worked at American General Finance Company for over 25 years; and was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church. Her life exemplified one of unconditional love and loyalty to her husband, family, and friends. She fought the good fight, never lost her faith; she finished the race, and won her battle with cancer because she now resides with God. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Harvey Dee Raine Manning Sr. of Kinston. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Dee Manning Jr. of Kinston; daughter Candace Manning of La Grange; grandchildren Josh Manning and Jayden Coston of Kinston; sisters Joyce Heath Seymour of Kinston and Mary Jo Gillette and husband Mark, of Jacksonville; one niece and two nephews. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Rivermont Baptist Church, 2748 Hwy 258 South, Kinston. Homegoing services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Davis and the Reverend Steve Dixon officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
