Elizabeth Fasullo Cacamo passed away peacefully on Monday October 31, 2016 at the age of 90. Daughter of Anthony Fasullo and Mary Monaco Fasullo. She was born on October 14,1926 in New Orleans, La. Wife of the late John J. Cacamo, Jr. for 41 years. Sister of the late Bernadette Fasullo Maffei and sister-in-law of the late Benny Maffei. Aunt of Vincent B. Maffei, Sr. (Lynn) and Maria M. Williams (Andy). Loving Great Aunt of a host of nieces and nephews. Elizabeth graduated from Redemptorist All Girls High School in New Orleans. She was a dedicated employee of the Port of New Orleans for 35 years. She was a resident of Metairie for the past 45 years. Elizabeth loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them all. She was lovingly known as "Nanny" to all. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank her caregivers for the devoted service and loving care given by Melvina Jackson, Cher Mark, Delores Hunter, and Jocelyn Harris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at St. Ann Church and National Shrine, corner of Transcontinental Drive and Meadowdale in Metairie, La. On Thursday November 3,2016. Visitation will begin in church from 11:30 to 12:30 followed by Holy Mass at 12:30. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
