Elizabeth Johnson, fondly known as "Lizzy" to her friends and family, passed away on April 28th, 2023 at the age of 71 in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Lizzy was born on May 5th, 1951 to her loving parents in the Windy City. She was known throughout her life for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and kind heart.

One of Lizzy's greatest passions in life was cooking. She could often be found in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals for her loved ones. As a natural performer, Lizzy loved to entertain her guests and would often cook up a storm and dance around the kitchen to the tune of her favorite songs.

Lizzy also had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She would often plan trips to exotic locations and would always come back with amazing stories to tell.

Despite her love for adventure, Lizzy always remained close to her family and friends. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, who will always hold her memory close to their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Chicago Food Bank in Lizzy's name. She would have loved nothing more than to continue to help feed those in need in her community even after her passing.

Lizzy, you will be missed dearly, but your legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will live on forever.
