Elizabeth A. Resting Heldt is peacefully with her Lord. She died April 26, 2010, at age 50 at her residence in Shelby Township.She was born on Sept. 9, 1959, in Howell. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker, she was also a published author and had also worked for Mica Mortgage. She was devoted to spreading the Gospel through children's ministries. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of 31 years; her children, Chris (Rachelle), Becky, Zach and Matt Heldt; her grandson, Jacob; siblings, Steve (Sandy) Miller and Mike Miller; her father, Richard Miller; and her stepfather, Al Campbell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beth Campbell. Visitation is today (Wednesday) from 3 to 8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. (three blocks east of VanDyke) in Utica. The funeral service will be Thursday. She will lie in state at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Utica United Methodist Church, 8650 Canal Rd., Sterling Heights.
