Elizabeth Chance, lovingly known as Liz by friends and family, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 75 in Maryland City, Maryland, United States. She was born on January 5, 1950.

Liz was a talented baker who delighted in creating delicious treats for those around her. Her baked goods were always in high demand, and she never hesitated to share her culinary creations with friends, family, and neighbors.

She retired in 2005, after a successful career, but continued to pursue her passion for baking in her free time. Liz's kitchen was always filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goodies, and her hospitality knew no bounds.

She is survived by her loving partner, John, three children – Carl, Derrick, and Brianna – and six grandchildren. Liz's legacy lives on through the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have tasted her delicious treats.
