Elisa Guillen Cortez, 50, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed on September 17, 2020. Elisa was born on April 29, 1970 in San Antonio, Texas.

Elisa was loved by everyone and was always the life of the party as everyone remembers her. She was always positive and kept a smile or laugh while around. She proceeded in death by her mother Maria De Jesus Rivas, her father Emilio Garza (Not sure if father is passed), her brothers Alex Rivas, Juan Cardoza, Francisco Cardoza. She is survived by her loving husband Navidad Rene Guillen Cortez, Son Ricardo Saldana, Carly Davis, and 2 sons in mexico that we are not aware of the ages or names but we knew that she loved all of her children including her puppies (Gizmo, Gordo, Chato) that were just like kids she loved and adored her puppies so much, Sisters Maria Consuelo Limon, Irene Perez, she has many nieces and nephews that she also cared and loved. Elisa will be missed very much by everyone but her memory will not be forgotten, this is the time we let our past go and we become as one. We do not know when our time will come and I know at this time it is hard but we really need to come together as a family and let by gones be by gones. So we can create and cherish moments for the rest of our lives.
