Siragusa, EleonoraEleonora Sgroi Siragusa, 65, a Stamford, CT resident, passed away on November 18 2016 at Stamford Hospital with her family by her side. Eleonora was pre deceased by her son Michael Siragusa of Darien CT.She is survived by her children Joseph Siragusa of Austin TX, Salvatore Siragusa Jr. of Houston TX, her granddaughter Olivia Monroe Siragusa, and her former husband Sal Siragusa, and her surviving sisters Carmela Sgroi, Rosa Buccino and her children Antoinette, Carlo, Roseanna and FrancescaShe was born on July 4, 1951 in Castiglione Sicily, Eleonora immigrated to the USA in 1968 and became a citizen in 1976 for the bicentennial. Eleonora was loved by so many she was like a second mom to so many other people. She was a great friend, mother,and grandmother. She will be terribly missed. Family and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 5:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 9:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will take place in private.
