Eleanore Irene Zacharias BruckRedding, CA1928 - 2017Eleanore Irene Zacharias Bruck went to be with her Lord on June 10, 2017.Eleanore was born on May 22, 1928 in Pasadena, California to Karl and Emma Zacharias. She spent her early years in Pasadena and La Cañada, California, graduating from high school in 1945. She continued her education at UCLA and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.Eleanore married David Palmer Bruck on April 2, 1949 in La Cañada, California. They made their home in Redding, California, purchasing their business, Redding Title and Insurance Company, in 1967.Eleanore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was a wonderful friend to all.Her hobbies included sewing, antiquing, genealogy, and various puzzle games.Eleanore was a member of Valley Christian Fellowship for 33 years. Additionally, she was a past member of Children's Home Society, the Napa Historical Society, and had been a volunteer at Life Light.Eleanore was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, David Palmer Bruck. She is survived by her three daughters: Dana Cash (Glen), Lisa Berry, and Sarah Martinez (Mike); grandchildren: Ryan Cash (Jennifer), Ashley Ricci (Brian), Caitlyn Martinez, Michael Martinez, and Hope Letscher; great grandchildren: Grace Cash, David Ricci, Cameron Ricci, Ellis Ricci, Lucia Ricci, Lorenzo Lanphier, and soon to be born, Lucas Lanphier.Celebration of Eleanore's life will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Christian Fellowship (3180 Rancho Road, Redding, California).In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Light (2919 Bechelli Lane, Redding, California 96002).Please sign the guest book at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/redding/
