It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Mundy-Whitley, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Eleanor was born on January 21, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to her parents Esley and Margaret Mundy.

She married the love of her life, John Ellis Whitley Sr, in 1959, and together they raised three wonderful children: John Ellis Jr., James (Jimmy), and Marc Elliot. Eleanor was a devoted nurse, providing care and compassion to countless patients throughout her career.

She graduated from Bate High School in 1959 and continued her studies in Nursing school, where she found her true calling. Eleanor was known for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Eleanor will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.
