Eleana Garner, 66, of Fairfield, California, passed on April 02, 2021. Eleana was born on October 31, 1954 to Clara Elizabeth Barnes and Early Barnes, Sr. in Bryan, Texas. Eleana had six other siblings which consisted of Melvin Barnes, Earley Barnes, Terry Lee Barnes, Tommie Van Barnes, Henry and Excelor Duncan. Eleana Garner was blessed with three children by the names of Veronica Garner, Tonya Garner, and Curtis Garner; grandchildren, Kumonee Garner, Jamisha Hall, Patrick Garner, Charleston Garner, and Cameron Garner. She leaves behind a host of friends and relatives. In 2003, Eleana Garner took pride in assisting her youngest daughter to raise her two youngest grandchildren, Cameron and Charleston. Eleana was a great grandmother and role model for her grandsons. Eleana, her grandsons, and daughter attended True Love Baptist Church while singing in the choir, cooking meals for various programs/holidays, and she volunteered for other church related activities. Eleana was also a volunteer at her grandsons' elementary school, Laurel Creek Elementary where she worked as a crossing guard and instructional assistant. She was a loyal member of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association). As some of you may know, Eleana was a great cook and she enjoyed making delicious meals for her family and close friends. Her other hobies included her wide variety of plants, African Artwork paintings and sculputures, and various pieces of different decorative items in various colors. Eleana was a cheerful, funny, motivational woman. She would always have her family and friends laughing at her. If you asked her opinion, expect the truth from her because she would not sugar coat any part of her responses.
