Pfaff, ElaineElaine A. Pfaff, age 97 of Mountain, passed away on March 8, 2017. Elaine was born on April 4, 1919 to the late Walter and Anna (Coleman) Saffran in Wisconsin. She married Edwin Pfaff on June 11, 1937. Elaine greatly enjoyed sewing and making ceramic crafts.Elaine is survived by her 9 children, Janice Frederickson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Rosa (Robert) Schenkenberger of Aurora, Colorado, Ruth Schomer of Mesa, Arizona, Susan Donaldson of Belton, Texas, Bruce (Pat) Pfaff of Downers Grove, Illinois, Steven (Linda) Pfaff of Pueblo, Colorado, Deborah (Don) Snider of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Richard (Debi) Pfaff of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Valerie (Dan) Fingal of Mountain, Wisconsin; 3 siblings, Walter (Lorna) Saffran of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, Elizabeth Patula of Westmont, Illinois, and Carol Dunn of Denver, Colorado; 28 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; parents, Walter and Anna Saffran; siblings, Eva Babich, Harold Saffran, Leo Saffran, and James Saffran.Visitation will be held on July 22, 2017 at Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Interment will take place in Mountain Cemetery following the service. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
