Elaine Webb Ferron, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68 on October 1, 2024 in her Fort Lauderdale, FL surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 21, 1956 to Cecil and Enid Webb, Elaine grew up in a close-knit family where she learned the values of kindness, compassion, integrity, and hard work. She passed five subjects at New Roads School in Westmoreland Jamaica. Elaine started a family and had two children. Her career started as manager at a well known supermarket in Jamaica called Percy. She then migrated to the United States where she earn her High School Diploma from ICS Newport Pacific High School. Her love for biology gave her the passion to earn a CNA certificate for nursing. After working as a CNA, Elaine started her own elderly home cleaning service while working as a assistant manager at 7-11 corporation.
Elaine had an extraordinary ability to connect with others around her and she lights up the room with her sense of humor.
Outside work, Elaine was known for her love of gardening and planting trees. She attended Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale where she worship on Sundays.
Elaine is survived by her two children, Keith Williams (Gary) and Nadine Rivera; her three grandchildren, Kadizha, Tahj, Anaya; her two great grandchildren; Kalessi and Mateo; her sisters, Janetta, Carmen, and Navlette; her brothers, Owen, Derek, Noel, and George, as well nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral will be held in her honor on Sunday, October 19, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Elijah Bell’s Funeral Services, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Burial will follow at Bailey Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to the home immediately after the service.
