Today we mourn the passing of a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, Egypt Barnett. Born on May 31, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, Egypt's light shone brightly throughout her 35 years of life.
She was the daughter of Elbert Barnett and Delores Owens, and the loving mother of five children: Amaya, Julez, Johnathan, Legend, and Maverick. Egypt's heart overflowed with love for her family, and she lived each day with purpose and dedication to those she held dear.
Throughout her life, Egypt found solace and joy in working out, a passion that brought her strength and peace. Her dedication to fitness inspired all those around her to live healthy, active lives.
Tragically, Egypt's journey on this earth was cut short by the devastating effects of Stage 4 breast cancer. Despite the challenges she faced, Egypt remained a beacon of hope and resilience, showing unwavering strength and courage until the very end.
Though Egypt is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a source of comfort and peace during this difficult time.
