Effie L. Bowles, 95, of Norfolk City, Virginia, passed on November 10, 2023. Effie was born on May 23, 1928. Effie is predeceased by her husband Leroy Bowles and two children Leroy Jr and Earlina Parker she is survived by Loretta white and also a host of brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Effie grew up and became a member of First Baptist Church in Lamberts Point. Effie spent many years working in the medical field. She found her passion whe she became a nurse at Layfette villa nursing home.
