Edythe M. Carroll-Clarke DELAVAN – Edythe M. Carroll-Clarke, age 97, of Delavan passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She was born on July 3, 1918 in Delavan to Ralph and Inez (Munroe) Pounder. Edythe moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1964 before moving back to Racine, WI in 1975. She was a school teacher in Monroe, WI, Racine, WI, and Phoenix, AZ. Edythe enjoyed photography and spending time with her family. Edythe is survived by her five children, Dody (Paul) Maki, of Fairbanks, AK, Patrick (Linda) Carroll, of Racine, WI, Edward (Barbara) Carroll, of Albuquerque, NM, Terrence Carroll, of Dallas, TX, and Richard (Sarah) Carroll, of Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; two sisters, Inez Maude Dunham, of West Allis, WI, and Alice Slopa, of Beaver Dam, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Edythe is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ray Carroll and Seymour Clarke; two children, Joseph and Raedith; and a brother, William. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Delavan following the service.
