Edwin E. Cantrell Sr. 1946—2016Edwin E. Cantrell Sr., 69 yrs. old, of Freeport passed away Sunday, Apr. 24, 2016. He was born on June 15, 1946 in Belleville, IL.,the son of William and Ruth (Schmitz) Cantrell. He married Evelyn Squires. Edwin was employed by Moring Disposal and Barkau Automotive. He was a member of the Salvation Army. Survivors include his wife, 3 sons, Andrew (Tammy) Cantrell of Mesa, AZ., Edwin (Sara) Cantrell Jr. of Freeport, and Anthony (Cindy) Cantrell of Orangeville, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 brother,Gary (Kathy) Cantrell of Mesa, AZ, 1 sister, Sue Ellen Cantrell of Centralia, and several nieces and nephews.
