Edwin M Duncan , 39, passed away unexpectedly on May 05, 2022. He was born to Jessie Lucena and Catherine (Flores) Duncan in Aurora, Illinois on November 09, 1982.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, Catherine and brother Alexander. He is survived by his father, Jesse,three sisters, Charisma of Baycity, MI, Nicole of Chicago, IL, Rachel of Dekalb, IL, and two brothers, Gabriel of Flint,MI, and Anthony of Aurora, IL. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends who were like family to him.

   Edwin was a practical joker with a generous heart of gold. He was a truck driver with Swift Trucking for 15 years and it was his passion to drive and collect sneakers. He was a big kid at heart and always spent his free time adoring, playing, and doting on his nieces and nephews. He was also known for his friendliness and determination to do whatever he set his mind to get done. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known him. 

 There will be a celebration of his life Wednesday, May 9,2022 at 11:30 A.M. to honor his memory. The celebration will be at Swanson Funeral Home at 806 E. Grand Blvd., Detroit, MI 48207. The family asks that any donations, flowers, and any condolences be sent to the funeral home.
