Edward T. Seeger, 71, of Meshoppen, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Regional Hospital Scranton. His wife of 48 years, Sandy Seeger, survives.He was born on December 8, 1943 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Orla C. and Edwina (Severs) Seeger. In addition to his wife, also surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy A. and Russell S. Shearing, Brackney, Wendy A. and Raymond Dunn, Springville; six grandchildren, Nicholas Davis, Eric and Justin Shearing, Caitlyn Fiorentino, Emily and Angella Dunn; three great grandchildren, Chelsea Fletcher, Wyatt Davis, and Julee Shearing; brother and significant other, Walter Seeger and Flo Placona, Lakewood, N.J.; an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins.Ed was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a wonderful person and hard worker; he and his wife owned and operated the Curry Donuts in Tunkhannock. He enjoyed fishing; especially with his grandchildren; camping and bow hunting. He was an Army Veteran serving three years during Vietnam.A celebration of Ed's life will be held at the family's convenience later in March.Arrangements were through the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home.
