Edward Ray Garcia Jr. A Clovis native residing in Rio Nido, California entered into rest Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016, at the age of 41.Edward Ray Garcia Jr. was born on December 02nd, 1974, in Clovis, New Mexico to Eddie Garcia of Clovis, New Mexico and Linda Alice Garcia of Portales, New Mexico. He was a 1993 Clovis High School graduate. Throughout his years he resided in Dallas, Texas for 10 years and proceeded to take up residence in Rio Nido, California for over 10 years. Edward was employed with the City of Santa Rosa, California and was highly thought of by his Supervisor and co-workers. Edward had many hobbies which included Kayaking, Hiking, Photography and volleyball. Edward loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending his time with his family. Edward is survived by his father, Eddie Ray Garcia of Clovis, New Mexico; mother, Linda Alice Garcia of Portales, New Mexico; sister, Renee Sisk (Billy L.) of Clay, Alabama; brother, Abe Garcia (Tarsha Trent) of Clovis, New Mexico; nephew, Zachary Garcia of Clovis, New Mexico; nieces, Anyssa Garcia of Portales, New Mexico and Katy Sisk of Asheville, North Carolina; great nephew, Kaden Russell of Dandridge, Tennessee; great niece, Isabella Smith of Asheville, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends.He was preceded in death by (maternal both grandparents) and (paternal both grandparents) and one nephew.A memorial service only is being held at Legacy Life Church located on the corner of 7th and Main Street, Clovis, New Mexico 88101.
