Miller, Edward LeroyEdward L. "Ed" Miller, 89, Appleton, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. He was born on August 11, 1927, to the late Glen and Effie (Forsythe) Miller in Neenah. Ed loved to bowl and golf, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. While Ed sported an old school exterior inside he had a kind, compassionate and loving heart. He was willing to help out family and friends with no expectation of receiving anything in return. He will especially be remembered for this sense of humor which he maintained until the end and brought a bit of happiness into the lives of those he touched.He is survived by his sons Tom Miller and Loren (Barbie) Miller, grandsons Christopher (Jennifer) and Andrew (Nancy) Pushart, grandchildren Kira, Connor, Maria and Jeffery.Ed was also preceded in death by his wives Lorraine Miller, Rita Miller and Lori Miller as well as eight siblings. Private family services will be held. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.Special thanks to the staff of ManorCare and Heartland Hospice who did a super job making his final days comfortable and peaceful.
