Edward William "Ned" Frey Jr., 69Edward William "Ned" Frey Jr., 69, of Lafayette passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at IU Arnett Hospital.Ned was born on April 27, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Edward Sr. and Pauline Davis Frey.He was a 1965 graduate of Beaver High School in Pennsylvania.Ned served his country with the U.S.M.C. in Vietnam between 1966-1969.On November 29, 1983 he was married Cynthia Frey in Lafayette.Ned worked as a Material Handler at SIA for 26 years.Ned enjoyed taking walks and swimming. His favorite teams were the Steelers and Colts in that order. He also enjoyed being in the woods, American history, and most of all being with his granddaughter and family. Surviving is his wife Cynthia Frey and his daughter, Kelly Frey of Lafayette. Also surviving is his brother, Robert (Susie) Frey of Aliquippa, PA, his sister, Virginia Thomas of Sinking Springs, PA, and his granddaughter, Isabelle.
