Edward Finley Kearney, 64, of Salinas passed away Mon. Nov. 16, 2015. He was born June 8, 1951 in Salinas, Ca.

Ed was a native of Salinas participating in sports, music and various activities. He was a graduate of UC Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education.

Ed was self-sufficient, adventuresome and a globe trotter which included living for a year at a Kibbutz in Israel, working on a survey team in Australia. And for the last 12 years teaching English in China.
