Edward E. Hall, 76Muncie - Edward E. Hall, 76, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family and his dog Buddy. He was born on April 16, 1940, in Carlinville, IL, the son of Ralph and Alice (Kates) Hall.Edward graduated from Bishop Noll High School. He attended St. Joseph College in Rensselaer. After college, he joined the United States Army.  Ed married Eva K. Coyne on February 28, 1980, in Hammond, IN. Ed worked for Laborers International Union of North America and International Union of Bricklayer and Allied Craft workers. After retirement,  he worked for Muncie Auto Auction.Ed was a great patron at the Muncie Public Library. He loved to read and meet his coffee buddies every morning. Ed will be remembered as a family man who enjoyed yard work and gardening. Ed was excited to see the Cubs win the World Series.Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Eva K. Hall; children, Sharon Beckler and Steve Coyne; grandchildren, Nichole Hall, Samantha Hall, Kimberly Hall, Sonny Beckler, Jerrid Coyne; great-granddaughter, Gemma Beckler sister, Barbara Buhrmann (husband, Jeff); brother, John Hall (wife, Noel); three nephews, Jeffery Hall, Douglas Hall, and  Greg Hall; close cousin, Dale Smirl; stepbrothers; and other extended family.He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Thomas Hall, grandson, Robert Beckler, brother, William Hall.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at College Avenue United Methodist Church, 1968 W. Main St., Muncie, IN, 47303. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel or one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be sent to Muncie Public Library, 2005 S.
