It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Chavez, who took his last breath on August 7, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1971 in San Jose, California, to his loving parents, Edward Chavez, Carmen and Leonard Castro.

Edward leaves behind his beloved son, Raymond Bos-Chavez, who will forever cherish their memories together. He is also survived by his siblings Denise Chavez, Rachel Lopez, Desiree Chavez, Daniel Felix, Mario Chavez and Angelo Chavez who are now with one another. Edward was known for his dedication to his job as a Freight Loader at Old Dominion and his love for riding his bike any chance he got.

Edward was a very mindful and selfless person. He ensured the ones he loved most came first. He enjoyed feeding the homeless throughout the holiday’s and ensured his loved ones always had what they needed.

Despite his untimely departure, Edward passed away peacefully in his sleep, perhaps dreaming of all the adventures he had yet to experience. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but we take solace in knowing that he is now in a better place, pedaling his way through eternal happiness.

Rest in peace, dear Edward. May your wheels never stop spinning in the great beyond.
