It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Allen Smith. Edward, 62, passed away peacefully at home on 10/11/2024, after his long battle with ALS. Born on 12/26/1962, Edward was known for his warm smile and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted husband to Lisa (nee Konieczka), father to Edward James and Justin Michael, son to Emil Smith and the late Joanne Smith, loving grandfather to Madilyn Smith, brother to James Smith & Brenda Smith and Annamarie (Smith) Bartel & Guy Bartel, Uncle to Stephanie, Shelby, Xavier and Alexander, cousin and friend to many. He loved to fish, hunt and work on cars and go to the casino. Edward will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory live on in the hearts of those he touched. Private services will be held on Friday October 18, 2024 at Ed & Lisa's home from 3 to 6pm
