Edna Renay Paige, lovingly known as "Renay" or "Reny," was born on July 26, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York. She later made North Carolina her home, where she attended Durham Technical Community College and proudly served as a dedicated security guard at WTVD.

Renay was a gentle soul with quiet strength, a generous heart, and a warm spirit. She touched many lives with her kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her twin brother, Robert Paige’el, and a host of beloved cousins: Michael Perry, Jocelyn Perry, Sharon Perry, Julianne Perry, Juliette Perry, Debrah Allison, and Penelophy Foster. She also leaves behind her cherished goddaughter, Serenity Renee Brandon, who brought her endless joy.

Renay was preceded in death by her loving mother, Julia Paige, and her father, Harold Paige. While her passing on May 7, 2025, leaves an irreplaceable void, we find peace in knowing that she is now soaring with the angels.
