Edith “Edie” Checkel, 79, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on January 28, 2025. Edie was a beloved member of the community, known for her kind heart and infectious laughter. She had a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers with a smile on her face. Edie also had a love for baking and could always be counted on to bring a delicious dessert to any gathering.
