Edith Emily TozziAGE: 76 • Toms RiverEdith Emily Tozzi, age 76, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ with her loving family at her side. Edith was born on October 26, 1940 in New York, NY.Edith was raised in New York where she lived in Queens during her earlier married years, and also spent time on Long Island. She later was a resident of Scotch Plains, NJ, before moving to Toms River in 1979 and raising her two children. Edith received two bachelor degrees from Pace University after studying accounting and social work. Edith was a compassionate and caring person who freely gave assistance to everyone who knew her. Wife of the late Pasquale Tozzi, she is survived by her two children, Christoper Tozzi and his wife Melissa and Jennifer Tozzi; two grandchildren, Lilyanna and Nolan Tozzi; and several loving relatives and friends.Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
