It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Edith Martinez, who left this world on October 27, 2024, in Killeen, Texas.

Edith was born on March 3, 1963, to her loving parents, Tomas and Carmen Castro. She married the love of her life, Michael Martinez in 1973, and together they raised six wonderful children: Christine, Michael Jr, Tiarra, Jenniko, Joey, and Garret.

She was a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and laughter.

Edith graduated from George Washington High school in 1981 and went on to have a fulfilling career at Tiffin House Assisted Living and Memory Care, as well as lending her expertise to the Census organization.

When she wasn't working, Edith enjoyed crocheting, baking, and indulging in a little gaming here and there.

She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, compassionate spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Edith's passing was due to complications from cancer, septic shock, and acquired community pneumonia.
