Edith Forbes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on May 10, 1963, to Sanders Bimbow and Geraldine Herod.

Edith married the love of her life, Jan Forbes, in the year 15, and together they raised two wonderful children, Woodrow Gaines and Aaron Murray. Edith was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.

She attended Strawberry Mansion High School and had fond memories of her time there. Edith was known for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and compassionate heart. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.

Edith leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
