It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Wayne Jones, 79 on September 20, 2023. He died peacefully at Cherokee county nursing center in Tahlequah, OK.

Edgar was born on May 6, 1944 and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed gambling at the casino in his free time. He also loved being a cowboy since he was a small boy. 

Edgar was preceded in death by his father Edgar jones and mother Goldie Jones. He is survived by his wife Joyce Jones.

Edgar was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a kind, generous, and hardworking man who will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held Monday the 25th of September 2023 2pm at Reed & Culver funeral home.
