He was a USMC veteran who served several years in the USMC while living in Southern California in the United States.

He leaves behind his wife, Denise Carpenter, two sons, Wyatt and Ethan and a daughter, Kimber.

His family held a small private funeral service and his remains were presented to his wife for final resting in California.

He was laid to rest in Los Angeles, California in 1988 by his wife Denise Carpenter and his children.
