Today we mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Earl Matthew. Born on March 6, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Earl passed away on August 3, 2024.

He was the son of Solomon and Elmiria, and the loving husband of Dorothy Jean, whom he married in 1988. Together, they raised three children: Johnny, Cynthia (married to Kerry Sr.), and Jerry (married to Tamela). Earl was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Earl was known for his love of fishing and hunting, spending countless hours in the great outdoors pursuing his passions. His dedication to his family and his hobbies will always be remembered and cherished.

Although Earl is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Earl Matthew. You will be dearly missed.
