Earl J. "Butch" Reynolds, 64EATON - Earl J."Butch" Reynolds, 64, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hosptial.Earl was born on April 8, 1952 in Portland, Indiana, to Ervin and Phyllis (Green) Reynolds. He attended Eaton High School and served his country in the Army. Earl married Janet Rouse on October 5, 1973 in Eaton.A journeyman roofer by trade, Earl worked for McGuff Supply for over thirty years. He was a long-time member of the Eaton First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Well known for his stories, Earl enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren but most of all, his passion was to serve the Lord.He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Janet Reynolds, their children, Tony Monroe (Beth), Brenda Anderson (Luke Wright), and Miranda Montero (Daniel); four brothers, Gene A. Reynolds, Ronald Grayson (Lesa), Kip Reynolds, and Terry Grayson; a sister, Karena Dines; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-mother, Mary Helen Reynolds, and several nieces and nephews.Earl was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Reynolds; mother, Phyllis J. Grayson; step-father, Bill E. Grayson, and a grandson, Jake Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Eaton First Baptist Church, 510 E. Columbia St., Eaton, with Pastor Mark Wilkerson, Pastor Marion Donathon, Pastor Robert York, and Pastor Del Ray officiating. Burial with Military Funeral Honors by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S.
