Earl Eugene Shaver,81, affectionately known as “Gene”, was born December 16, 1938. He departed this life on May 21, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones in Allentown, PA.
Born in Burkeville, Texas. Gene was a long time resident of Burkeville. Until his move to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Gene was employed by Catholic Charities as a Security Guard. Gene was a very unique man with a strong personality. He was firm about what he said and did, and very well respected by all. Gene was a trendsetter and handled his business at all cost. He was also a funny person that had jokes for days. He left a mark on this earth, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Earl is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ida Shaver. His wife, Doris and brother Carl. Survivors include his two brothers and sister. His two sons, Earl Henry And Dean Also his daughter Mary Janet. As well as, several grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mr. Shaver will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements for a memorial service will be made at a later date to include friends. Currently, all services will be held for family only.
