We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Doward Qualls, who was born on March 22, 1976, and passed away on August 11, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, United States. Doward was the beloved child of Douglas Means and Gloria Qualls.

Doward leaves behind a loving family, including their four children: Dominque Qualls, Diamond Pyburn, Desmond Qualls, and Doward Qualls Jr. They also leave behind six cherished grandchildren.

Doward attended David Carter High School and went on to work at Kimball High School before retiring in 2016. Throughout their life, Doward was dedicated to helping others, particularly through their involvement with the Boys and Girls Club organization. Their passion for coaching was recognized when they were awarded Coach of the Year.

In their spare time, Doward enjoyed fishing and spending time with their family. Their presence will be deeply missed by all who knew them.

Tragically, Doward's life was cut short due to a car collision. They will forever be remembered for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to making the world a better place. May they rest in peace.
