Funeral services for Doug will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Community United Presbyterian Church of Hartford. A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m prior to services also at the church. Doug was born on November 29, 1960 in Des Moines to Dennis and Peggy (Jordan) Pendry. Doug graduated high school and worked as a self employed carpenter. Doug is survived by his 2 children, Mandy (Chris) Breuklander of Carlisle and Paul Pendry of Knoxville; sister Denise (Bill) Peles of Lantana, Fl. and grandchildren, Ariel, Chase, Riley and Uriah Breuklander. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Peggy Pendry and grandparents, Rex and Maxine Pendry and Harold and Thelma Jordan.
