Douglas "Doug" Dean Weaver, 55HARTFORD CITY - Douglas "Doug" Dean Weaver, 55, passed away at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.He was born on August 23, 1962 in Hartford City to Thurman Eugene "Gene" Weaver and Judy (Anderson) Booher.Doug served in the United States Air Force from June 12, 1981 to August 27, 1982. He was a member of Hartford City AMVETS, Moyer-Pooler American Legion and the Air Force Association.He enjoyed music, cars, tinkering with radios and computers.Doug will be sadly missed by his daughter, Melinda (husband, Domenic) Weaver Schiera of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Samantha B. Schiera; father, Thurman Eugene "Gene" Weaver of Hartford City; mother and step-father, Judy and Robert L. "Bobby" Booher of Hartford City; brother, Shane E. Weaver (companion, Tammy) of Hartford City; sister, Kristy A. (husband, Clay) Garrett of Hartford City; twin sister, Dede J. Lovett of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry P. Weaver, Dorothy Rhonemus and Charles Anderson.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City.
