Doug McArthurClarksville , TNDouglas McArthur, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017.The Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and on Saturday 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home. Doug was born on July 6, 1942 in Chattanooga, TN, son of the late Chester McArthur and Stella Pettyjohn Eiden. He served in the U.S. Army, retired from GM as a Machinist after 30 years, was a member of the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, Board of Directors Metro. Detroit Youth Chorus, Board of Directors MI Christian Youth Camp, former Elder, Youth Minister, Bible Hour teacher in Brighton, MI. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, James and Michael McArthur. Survivors include his wife, Diana McArthur; daughters, Deborah (Bob) Letsinger of Rockford, IL, Denise (Andy) Cameron of Clarksville; grandchildren; Dylan Letsinger, Braydon Letsinger, Cara Cameron, Colin Cameron, Mesha Cameron, Sveta Cameron; brother, David McArthur; and sister, Patricia Rose. Pallbearers will be; Bob Letsinger, Dylan Letsinger, Braydon Letsinger, Andy Cameron, and Colin Cameron. Memorial can be made to The Well Ministry of Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing.
