Dorthybell "Dot" Brand (Watkins), aged 96, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, in Lodi, California. Born on December 10, 1928, in Eurika, California, Dot lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, cherished by all who knew her.

Dot was a beacon of joy and love, touching the lives of many with her infectious enthusiasm for life. She spent countless hours in her garden and kitchen, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. Above all, Dot cherished the time she spent surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, instilling in them values of love and family.

She is survived by her loving children, Dennis Brand of Santa Cruz, Dr. Kenny Brand of Lodi, Patricia (Brand) Anderson of Lodi, and Catherine (Brand) Herrmann of Stockton. Dot also leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren Peter, Chris, Kenny Jr., Jeff, Shelly, Jennifer, Kelly, Scott, Christy, and Elizabeth, as well as her great-grandchildren Chris, Elijah, Sara, Tara, and Mia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the California Teachers Association, reflecting Dot's lifelong support for education and her belief in the power of learning.

Dot's warmth, love, and zest for life will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
