Dorthy Lee Drake -”DOT or Anne “ of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on August 5, 1929, Dorthy lived a full and fulfilling life. She was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering optimism. Dorthy was a pillar of strength in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She will be remembered for her wisdom, grace, and love for life.she is survived by five daughters , julliette stevenson (Julie), Rosalinda Lewis, susan Anne, Jackie Drake , brenda drake; 2 sons,joshua drake ,David Baker ; 3 sisters Ella mae baker, cora mae , Daisy Holmes ,1 brother Samuel lee Drake , 15 grandchildren ;29 great -grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews .Dorthy's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she continue to rest in peace.
