Dorothy "Louise" Schluttenhofer83, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on August 11, 2017 in Surprise, AZ. She was born on May 2, 1934 to Willard and Daisy "Viola" (Williams) Spiker in Freeland Park, Indiana. She graduated from Earl Park High School.She married Marvin on June 16, 1954. To this union were born 4 children. Louise and Marvin lived in Pine Village and Lafayette, Indiana before moving to Phoenix.Louise worked as an Insurance Administrator for State Farm Insurance and retired in 1996.She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.She was a wonderful mother and devoted wife. Over the years she enjoyed decorating cakes, playing guitar and keyboard, telling jokes, sewing, traveling, ballroom dancing and most of all she loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Louise is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Marvin. Children: Susan (Tim) Daviess, Joan (Mike) Iauch, Tracy (Kevin) Cooley, and Amy (Lance) Dover, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Sister: Lela Welsh, Brother: John (Iva) Spiker.She is preceded in death by her parents; Willard and Viola, brother; Don Spiker, and granddaughters; Jessica and Brianna Reifel.Private services will be held by the family at a later date.Contributions are suggested to the or Surprise Unit, Surprise, AZ.
