Dorothy was called home peacefully on the afternoon of October 18, 2019 after a gradual declining in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. 

Dorothy Jean Howard Raglin was born on March 1, 1945 to Jimme Lee and James Howard in Point Blank, Texas. They later moved to Houston where she recieved Christ at an early age at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She later joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev W.F. Thorn. She then recieved her fellowship closer to home at Victory Temple Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev L.C. Kirkpatrick until her last days.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Renee, Pam, Mesha, and Micaela. Grandchildren; Ashia, Aisha, Fred, and Samone. and a host of great-grandchildren.
