Norwich - Sister Dorothy J. Boone of Norwich passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven.Dorothy was born on Oct. 16, 1941, to Lewassa Beasley and Willie Jefferson McAlister in Egypt, Miss.Dorothy ended her career working for the State of Connecticut as an administrative assistant.Visitation begins at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 22nd, at Cornerstone City Church, 248 Broadway, Norwich. Burial will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 184 Salem Tnpk., Norwich.Church and Allen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
