Dorothy Itsue MorisakiDorothy I. Morisaki passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 11, 2017, surrounded by her family and close friends. Dorothy was born on February 25, 1924, in Seattle, Washington, to Itsukei and Kashiku Nakamura, and at the age of 93 was the last living of 11 children. She attended school in Seattle until the Japanese internment. After being released, she lived in various cities but returned to Seattle where she married her husband, George Morisaki. They shared 45 years together until his passing in 1993.Dorothy loving dancing, spending time in the sun, and being with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Karen and Jill (Albert) Paderes, two sons, Kay and Bob (Terri), 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private burial services were held.
