Dorothy H. Arnold Dorothy Arnold, 96, passed away peacefully November 2, 2016. Dorothy was born on July 23, 1920 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Henry and Margaret Johanning. Dorothy retired from Goodyear and lived her life in Uniontown, where she was a parishioner at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church. She spent many winters with friends in Largo, Florida. Dorothy loved to walk and lived by her motto, "if you don't use it, you lose it."In addition to her parents; Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alexander; sisters, Mary Wilkinson and Virginia Burns-Davis, and brother, DeVon Johanning. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including special caretakers, nephew, Edward L. Burns and great niece, Mary Rupert.The family wishes to thank Mulberry Gardens and Senior Independence Hospice for their exceptional care.Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd., Akron, OH 44312. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church.
