Dorothy (nee Klink) FosterDorothy (nee Klink) Foster of Harrington Park passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was 92 years old. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, James C. Foster, her parents George and Helen Klink, her brothers George Klink and Richard Klink. She was a beloved and devoted mother to James Foster and wife Sarah of Edina, MN, Jane Marshall and her husband Bruce of Harrington Park, NJ, Jeffrey Foster and his wife Annelie of Westwood, NJ. Additionally, she had 7 adoring grandchildren, Melissa Marshall-Gagnon of Englewood, NJ, Jeffrey Marshall and his wife Lisa of Richmond, VA, Timothy Marshall and his partner Ryan Mensing of New York City, Molly Borg and her husband Sean of Edina, MN, James Foster and his wife Paris of New York City, Elizabeth Foster of Westwood and Jennifer Foster of Westwood. Loving great grandmother to Allison Gagnon of New York City, Andrew Gagnon of San Francisco, Grace Marshall of Richmond, VA, Jack Marshall of Richmond, VA, Haddie Marshall of Richmond, VA, Henry Marshall of Richmond, VA, Grace Borg of Edina, MN and William Borg of Edina, MN. Many nieces and nephews were close and dear to her heart. Dorothy was born on August 20, 1924 in Jersey City and grew up in Palisades Park. She graduated from Leonia High School and worked as an Executive Secretary to the President of the 195 AT&T Corporation while her husband served in the US Army during World War II in Europe. Lived in Dumont where she was active in the Junior Women's Club and moved to Harrington Park in 1954 where she raised her family and had many close friends and neighbors. She became active in the Community Church of Harrington Park and Community Bible Study and served as an active member of the Harrington Park Board of Health. She was also active as a volunteer at Englewood Hospital and a member of the Upper Montclair Country Club with her husband.Family will receive visitors at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, April 26th, between 4-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Community Church, 1 Spring Street, Harrington Park, NJ on Thursday, April 27th at 11 AM.
