Dorothy Blackwell, 84, of Newport News  Virginia, passed Friday, April 17, 2020. Dorothy was born to Eugine Dunn, and Lela May Walker- Dunn, January 26, 1936 in White Plains, Virginia. Dorothy worked at Newport News City Schools until she retired in 1999.

Dorothy is survived by 1 child William Earl Blackwell (Clara Blackwell). She also is survived by 1 grandchild DeWayne L Cutchin as well as 2 great grand children Santana Z Cutchin husband Darryl Jones Jr. & Rodzell Cutchin, She also had the pleasure to meet her great great grand children Darryl Jones III, Daylen Jones, & Zenoria Jones Along with many nieces and nephews that were close to her heart. Dorothy was a strong caring and giving woman and had a chance to live, travel and be loved .
