Since coming from Gaffney, SC, Dorothy Bennett moved to Harlem, NY where she lived until her transition.. Survived by her children Deborah Scott, Mark Bennett, and predeceased Pamela Reid and late husband Carnel Reid. Dorothy also leaves behind a host of niece and nephews, 8 grandchildren, a host of great grands, cousin and friends. Dorothy was a building manager, yes my grandmother was the super! She was loved by her children and like dancing. My grandmother liked being surrounded by her grandchildren, especially during the holidays. And my cousins know we loved going to grandma’s for Christmas! Dorothy knew how to make you laugh and grandma was a good listener for some. And everyone also knows Dorothy Bennett meant what she said and said what she meant! Thank you all for coming to pay your respects.
